My favorite holiday. I richly enjoy so many blessings and have so much to be thankful for.

 

November is Rotary Foundation Month. I invite each Rotarian in District 5400 to increase your global relevance in humanitarian service through this tremendous vehicle for influence around the world.

 

Our participation with, and contributions to The Rotary Foundation brings relevance to our lives by helping each of us become global humanitarians. From an economic perspective, our individual contributions to the Foundation get matched and multiplied and converted into life-saving humanitarian service in our communities and around the world.

 

It is through the Foundation that our clubs establish relevance within their community and to their members. While our weekly meetings can connect us with other community leaders, it is the work of the Foundation that makes of us global citizens and makes people in our communities and around the world stand up and take notice of Rotary.

 

Rotary International invites each Rotarian around the world to consider donating $100 per year to The Rotary Foundation. Our small individual contributions become the fuel for the most powerful non-partisan, non-religious movement on earth.

 

I am grateful for our District Foundation Chair Todd Fischer and our District Grant Chari Ines Crespo for their outstanding leadership. They both truly make the wheels of Rotary run smooth.
