District 7630, Delaware/Maryland published its June Foundation Newsletter, featuring an article about a project in Burangi, Kenya, which has been supported by the Boise Downtown, Sunrise, Southwest and Centennial clubs.  Our clubs raised about $13,000 for the project, which was matched by district 5400 DDF and by TRF at 1.5 to 1, meaning a total of over $45,000 to the overall project.  The project is awaiting final TRF approval, which is expected any day.

Tracy Ritter, mentioned in the article, was a member of the Boise downtown Rotary club when she lived in Boise. She is the International Director of Genesis World Mission, based in Garden City, Idaho.

This story is a perfect example of how clubs from all over the world can collaborate on international projects and collectively make a huge difference.
