District Governor Marianne Barker said, "What a surprise – and a joy – to have $102,887 in project requests, representing 41 projects from 23 clubs and the district, leaving the district grants committee with the responsibility to pare down those requests to about $32,000.   Consideration was given to each project for its alignment with the mission of The Rotary Foundation and for its compliance with the eligibility guidelines and restrictions set forth in the Terms and Conditions for Rotary Foundation grants as part of the approval process."
